Local Newspaper Website

This is a project for a local newspaper website. I will not make the name public as of now, but it will be a normal newspaper website with backoffice and the usual functionality to create and update news within categories, comment, static video, etc. It doesn't matter if you use an existing script, or an open source project, or a similar project you did yourself before. We would like to know if you do just for informational purposes, but what really matters is if you can achieve the functionality. A document with specific details will be provided for clarification purposes after bidding is over. This website already has a layout main page, so the functionality has to work within this design. Response times from client to developer may be slow sometimes. This is due to some higher level decisions being taken by people with somewhat less of a technological ease. On the other hand, response times from developer to client are still required to be fast. So only bid on this project if you have no problem with this. An important part of this project is the hosting: the developer will not be required to host the final product, obviously, but he will be expected to install it on the hosting provider chosen and to get the whole website working. Early installs will be required (we can and will discuss payment installments). In summary, installation is a part of the project. Linux should be the option, but we still have no provider and would like the developer to advise us on this. I must say that the design has been made by a developer here at Scriptlance. I have really enjoyed it and, as I know his work, he is in a very good position to win the bid. If you have to make an argument, please have this into consideration.
