I need somebody with experience to import 2500+ customers and orders from a cubecart 3.0 site to a new magento site.
I need the customer to be able to log back in and see their past orders and if the passwords can stay the same that would be great!

we have an oscommerce (creloaded) project we are working on where we need to import data provided by the supplier into the oscommerce database. this data will be either a csv or cXML file. each month we will get a new file to import from this supplier (new products, new prices, etc) - we need an easy solution to upload the new feed each month...
in addition to importing data, we will need to create a cXML file containing orders for this supplier. we will provide the cXML format provided by the supplier to post orders back to their site.
we are looking for someone who can do this work quickly and accurately. upon successful completion of this data import/export, we will have additional suppliers to import data from as well as some oscommerce customization.
please ask any questions you may have...

Hi,
Need help i am working on a project and prestashop has a import tool where you can import CSV but if you have loads of produtcs its 2 slow, so i need a script made where
when they upload the CSV file via FTP it then once script is done i create a cron job to run at 2:00am everyday so then the products / quantity / short description / main description
gets updated and also need categories / subcategories including in this 2? as we sometimes add extra categories or subcategories to the list.
If anyone is interested please contact me and i be willing to give you a test so for example you create a test csv file and a test script? so i can see it working? and if you are successful and understand what exactly i need then i will be taking you on?
This is an urgent job as well, so need to be done immediately please?
As the CSV which i will be adding over once you get accepted you will have to make the script look in the csv for say ITEM but when it imports it uploads in the database as: say reference as item represents reference.

main problem is that i not have discription and images yet, these are on cd, example websites and other means, so we must addd dummy tekst, but what we can use already,

The product import script is already created and added on my server and on Magento admin dashboard.
What needed is 1.) At first you need to create attributes and make Attribute Sets admin >> Attributes >> Manage Attributes and add all attributes you will use when make import After it you should create Attribute Sets with attributes you created. You'll able to select one of Attribute Sets when upload product import on this page http://balveny.de/import/ When all it's done you can try to upload products by category: Select category, select attribute set and then upload file with import. Each file should have only one tab with category.

Develop a little tool to import/parse info from http://www.versiontracker.com and compare it with our stored info.
We need a tool to know when there is a new version of a software in our database, so we have a table with these vars to search and compare:
- software name
- version
- last update date
With that info we would search the programs with a new version today at versiontraker and stored in our db.
We would like to use another site with feeds (but less) to search more new versions of our programs.
When we find a new version, show the info of that program from versiontraker and show our info, to can compared it, and use it to update our db.

Background
We are a tax refund company. We send hard copy claims to the tax office which prove that our clients incur expenses and claim tax relief. One type of claim we submit in fairly high numbers is for motor mechanics who buy tools to do their job.
Current Process
Currently we have a manual process to convert the purchase evidence in the form of hard copy receipts and statements into a format accepted by the tax office.
This involves a number of steps:
- Prep: annotating the original paperwork by striking out items we can not claim for (see below for the criteria), and numbering the items we can claim for.
- Data entry: we already have an MS Excel macro application (see attached) where we enter information for each allowable item. This uses an existing database of around 16,500 codes for allowable items (which we add too). The calculations we need to submit to the claim are the output of this stage.
Desired Process
As the format of the original purchase evidence is in standard format (of 3 or 4 distinct types), we would like to be able to scan and OCR this paperwork (we have the hard/software to do this, scanner is a Kodak i1220 plus) and export the OCR in a usable and editable format (there are range of options from the software Omnipage 15; all MS packages, .csv, HTML, etc.) and at this point number all items sequentially starting at 1. Each line of data would reflect one purchase and include the information necessary to process the item, i.e. price, date purchased, code and or description.
We would then like to automate as many of the rules in the Preping the receipts' section below. It would be helpful at this stage to have an output of the allowable items and a list of exceptions for each run so that we can continually fine tune the criteria.
Once the prep stage is complete we would then want those allowable items to be run against the MS Excel macro tool and produce the output.
It may be that the stages can be merged and through exceptions we can continually add to 2 databases: allowable items and none allowable items.
Considerations
We use MS Office 2003
We would want to run per client and there may be differing formats of evidence per client.
We would want the ability to enter item details manual at the Data Entry stage as some purchase evidence can be scanned.
Users are competent but not IT experts
The existing Excel Macro is attached as well as examples of the purchase evidence
Next Steps
Project is to start ASAP and to be delivered by the first week of September. Fixed priced for the job is preferred.
Preping the receipts
Only certain items can be included in the claim.
- Remove any items not dated between the 6th April 1997 and the 5th April of the most recent tax year.
- Remove any items under £10.00 after VAT or £8.51 before VAT. This includes any items with nil value i.e. 0.00
* Beware of MAC statements as they tend to be printed as gross figures rather than net *
- We must provide descriptions for all items in the claim therefore, highlight any item without a description or which is not legible as the description will be sourced at the data entry stage.
We can only claim for tools and can only make a claim for each item once; therefore non-tool items and duplicates of tools will need to be removed from the claim. We also can not claim for repairs of items or consumables (items that must be replaced regularly because they wear out or are used up e.g. light bulbs, blades)
Items which should definately be removed are;
Batteries, blades, workwear, socks, promotional clothing/items, car parts, torches (although we can allow one gas torch), lights, mirrors, mats, alarm clocks, watches, stools, boots, gloves, caps, tool box covers, organisers, shelves, welding masks, magnetic trays, trays, racks, draw dividers, CV boot kits, socket rails, repairs etc.
* For items which have a code but no description, these are some of the codes which relate to these items, EAS codes, CMC codes, CPL codes, MECGL codes. These can all be removed without highlighting the items for a description.
As well as needing a description, all receipts must have on them the client's name and the date that they were purchased. If there are receipts/items without this information and the item is for over £200 please contact the client to try and obtain this information so we can include it in the claim.
Please note:
* if more than one item is purchased on the same receipt and only one total figure is provided then cross through the total, divide by 2 and rewrite this total for 1 item on the receipt. This can then still be included in the claim.
BEWARE of totals with 2 items that once divided would be below £10.00 gross.
* include items with minus figures unless they are below the £10.00 rule above.
Once you have checked through the above points, each item we are claiming for needs to be numbered so we can input the figures to a spreadsheet. Number the receipts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5..etc ensuring all items we are claiming for are numbered.
Write the number next to the figure excluding VAT (net) on the receipt.
File is now ready for data entry.

Hi,
I need a wizard tool to be developed in .Net C# as Windows App to import my excel data in database. There are several tools already available to do this. I would like the programmer to use http://www.davidhayden.com/blog/dave/archive/2006/05/31/2976.aspx SQLBulkCopy tool in the above link.
But I need some modifications to it. That's the reason I am posting this as a project here.
Project Requirements:
1. Windows Project will have just 1 form with a wizard control.
2. WizardPage1 will accept the excel sheet to import. (with a textbox, browse button)
3. WizardPage2 will display the available tables in Database where data could be imported (some tables of database should be excluded here). User will select one & click Next
4. WizardPage3 will check if the columns & datatypes match between the excel columns & database table columns. If not display a error of the specific column & allow user to make modifications offline in database & click a button refresh here to check it again.
5. Once everything is correct, user will click Next button
6. Check if data already exists in table. If yes, ask user if he would like to udpate record in excel with row in table (if PK matches).
7. WizardPage4 will display a grid table with tasks to perform & will mark it as complete as tasks completes. So this should be done very similar to SQLServerInstallationSteps grid.
8. WizardPage5 - completes the wizard.
You need to use Devexpress v10.1.5 (trial can be used. Url to download will be provided), VS 2008, SQLExpress2005 for this project.

After completion of this project, developer will be provided with more projects in future.

We need an conversion tool for converting an excellsheet into an xml, build in asp.net. The tool needs to match the columnheaders to the database.
Proces: The user imports an excell sheet, the tool reads the columnheaders in the excell sheet and show these headers on a webpage. The user can then match each columnheader with the corresponding fieldnames. The user clicks import after he's done. The flat data must be converted to the hierarchical XML data. The XML will be read into our application.
Functionality.
- The tool needs to be server based and robust enough for multiple users at once.
- the tool needs to anlyse the headers of the original excell sheet and give a suggestion mapping. For example a header called customer name, would be mapped to the preferred header name organisationname. There will be a lot of those.
- When the customer is ready with the mapping, he needs to be able to save the mapping for future use.
- The tool needs do validation.
- The tool needs to do some basic conversions.

Similar to other post, I would like an email me at least once a day. It doesn't have to be more then 1-2 sentences, but I need an email once a day.
Also show volusion work you have done or worked on.
What I need is an Import / Export routine or template between the drop shipping provider and our new volusion ecommerce store database. This will result in the following to be automatically performed each day:
- A routine or template to export catalog database from the drop shipper. Preferably something like a windows based EXE that is scheduled to run daily and import the data.- Set products sale price according to a mark-up multiplier that may be set per import. Example: (Price * 1.25)
- Rule: If a product has a MAP or MSRP price listed, the MAP/MSRP price shall be the products sale price regardless of mark-up multiplier.
- Import the modified and all other possible product data provided such as price, details, category, inventory, images and more into comparable Volusion store database.
- A routine or template to export orders from Volusion store to the products supplier for shipping. So an order would be automatically placed with them per the API.

I'm currently using BCSE Product importer pro that I purchased to import products from different distributors. I need someone who is very knowledgable with x-cart version 4.2.1 and BCSE Product importer pro to help me configure a couple of new distributors for their products to be imported into our site. I will have a testsite setup for you to test these products and make sure there working prior to adding the new importers to the live site. The BCSE Product Importer Pro documentation is located at:

They do not show documentation on how to setup product options and variants, so be prepared for this since almost all products have options and price variants.

Hello,
We are looking for a programmer to create an ebay listing and feedback importer tool to put on our new auction marketplace website. You should have a very good understanding of ebay API and if you have experience with ilance software that is a plus.
Regarding what specifically needs done to our new online marketplace is that before we officially launch this website we'd like to have a "grabber" or importing tool installed on it so that new users can import their ebay listings and feedbacks directly over with just a few clicks of the mouse. This concept is very important to a brand new auction site, as it allows the site to grow much more rapidly. A couple of specific examples of what we are looking for can be provided via the SL message board. Also, we have over 200 websites that constantly need maintenance and new ones created as well. So we would like to establish a good working relationship with a coder for a long term business relationship as well. We currently have 2 in-house coders/programmers and that does not seem to be enough...lol
Also, I want to mention I was not sure what job category to choose, do before bidding please make sure you understand the requirements and are capable of completing the job. Please provide examples of anything similar you have done.
